How Does It Work?

SwapRoulette is a great way to meet new friends. When you use SwapRoulette, you are paired randomly with another person to swap a picture with. If you prefer, you can add interests and you'll be randomly paired with someone that shares that interest.

After each swap, you have the option to:

Leave a message for the other person.
Continue swapping with the same person.
Swap with a different person.

All photos are deleted immediately after each swap. If you cannot find a match for your swap, your photo and link will automatically be deleted after 24 hours.

FAQ

What is SwapRoulette?SwapRoulette allows you to swap photos with a random person. You don't even need an account! Who knows what awesome people you will meet? All photos are protected and will automatically be deleted.

How do I know when I have a match?We recommend to enable push notifications to instantly be notified when you find a match. You can do this by heading over to the Notifications page and making sure the bell icon is enabled. Push notifications are exclusively used for updates regarding your swaps and won't be used to spam you unnecessarily.

If you don't want to enable push notifications, you can create an account and enable email notifications instead. Alternatively, you can keep all notifications off and occassionally check out your My Swaps page for updates.

How can I match by interest?To swap photos with people who share a certain interest, add the interest at the top of the page. Once added, it will automatically be selected and you are ready to swap with people who also have that interest selected. If you wish to stop swapping within a certain interest, simply click or tap the current interest to deselect it.

Do I need an account?An account is not required, but it is recommended. You can swap photos with people without having an account. An account makes it easier to keep track of your swaps and gives you access to a friends list.

Do I have to pay to use SwapRoulette?No, SwapRoulette is entirely free to use.

How can I swap with my friends?There are many ways to swap with your friends. You could simply create a new swap and then share the link with your friends, or create a custom interest at the top of the page and have your friends do the same. You can also create an account and share your profile link with your friends so they can send you swap requests. And lastly, you can tell your friends to create an account so you can add them to your friends list, which will make swapping a breeze.

Are my photos private and safe?Your photos are entirely in your own control. Only you decide who you swap your photos with. If you choose to swap a photo with a random person, then only that person will be able to see your photo.

All photos are watermarked with the viewer's IP address in an effort to prevent the other person from non-consensually sharing your photo. Additionally, you can set your photo to self-destruct after a certain amount of seconds.

Will my photos be permanently deleted?Yes, all photos are completely wiped from our servers and automatically deleted after 24 hours.
